November 9, 2004 Ilan Mandel, Teract's founder and CEO, produces the kickoff event of the SCICC's Entertainment & Digital Media Committee: "The Audience is Leading the Way: New Trends in Media and the Israel Connection". Hosted by Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan LLP in Santa Monica, and organized in association with The Entertainment, Media, and Communications Division of the Jewish Federation, the event welcomed over 70 industry professional. The distinguished panelists, moderated by Ilan Mandel included Brian Seth Hurst - CEO of The Opportunity Management Company and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Producers’ Guild of America’s New Media Council, John Hyde - COO of IDT Entertainment and CEO of Film Roman, and Barry Weiss - Senior Vice-President of Animation Production at Sony Pictures Imageworks.
